Leah Jorgensen has worked in the wine industry for a decade, most recently at Erath Vineyards, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Adelsheim Vineyard. She now consults for a handful of northwest wineries and freelance writes about travel, wine and gluten-free living. She enjoys sipping on fine northwest and Italian wines, old fashioned cocktails, rare and geeky teas (like monkey-picked Tie Guan Yin) and hanging out at taco trucks in the Willamette Valley. Her chapbook of poems, Basking, is available for purchase on her storefront. Her follow-up collection of poetry, Consequences, will be available in the spring of 2009. She is currently writing a book based on her 365 Days Until Love blog, entitled Love Grows in the Backyard: One Woman’s 365-Day Search for Everything at Home in the Northwest.
